Why we built Tariffloop

U.S. importers overpay an estimated billions of dollars in duty every year through misclassification, and they carry forced-labor and sanctions risk across supply chains that change faster than any team can manually review. Customs brokers file entries; they aren't built to continuously re-audit five years of entries for refunds, screen every supplier against the latest UFLPA and OFAC lists, or model tariff exposure when the rules change week to week.

Tariffloop closes that gap. It's an AI agent that works for the importer — classifying products with cited reasoning, screening suppliers, monitoring tariff changes, and surfacing the duty refunds a broker missed — running automatically instead of as a once-a-year scramble.

Who we build for

Small and mid-sized importers who feel the cost of tariffs and the weight of compliance but don't have a dedicated trade-compliance department. We give them enterprise-grade classification, screening, and duty recovery without the enterprise price tag or implementation.

What we believe

• Defensible, not magic. Every classification comes with the GRI reasoning and CBP rulings behind it, so it holds up under audit.
• Aligned incentives. We charge a success fee only on duty we actually recover — we win when you do.
• The importer stays in control. The agent does the analysis and drafts the filings; you approve them.
